Happy Holidays!
Okay – happy Thanksgiving, anyway. I hope everyone had a great Turkey-Day. I was able to enjoy the weekend with friends and family and even managed to sneak in a round of golf and 2 dog park visits!
Of course, right around the corner is Christmas (and I have all but one gift purchased – I’ve been 99.99% done for 2 months!!!!) and then New Years.
New Years has to be one of my favorite holidays. Why? I dunno – if I had to pin it on something, it would be the excitement of another year. Because no matter what happened this year, you just never know what the next year brings.
I am of course always interested in the statistics in regards to how many people are looking for employment on New Year’s Day. It’s actually the busiest day out of the entire year for resume updates and postings – and gets busier every year.
Speaking of which… we’ll be at a job fair next week in Birmingham, AL for anyone that wants to stop by. Details here:
