Over on Talent Network a thread was started as a result of several questions I receive related to where job seekers can search for industry specific job boards - something above and beyond (or just beyond) the Monster.com's and CareerBuilder.com's that are out there. It began a listing of niche boards (reference yesterday's blog here on RecruiterGuy as well) that I'm sure we'll continue to build on over the next few weeks.

Top 100 NichesAs timing (and a bit of luck) should have it, Eric Shannon of LatPro.com has just published a slightly more comprehensive list of his own - that is worth checking out whether you're a recruiter or a job seeker. The Top 100 Niche Boards of 2008 is a quick reference that lists the top 3 or 4 niche job boards based on Eric's 11 years of experience running a top niche board combined with almost 100 hours of research. He provides some additional references in regards to the methods he's used over on InternetInc.com where he's made the announcement. I'll list the top 30 categories here with a quick throw to Eric's post - trust me, if you're looking for more than just a vanilla board to display your neopolitan skill set - it's worth the click.
