You know,
it seems that I can never get enough music… especially when I’m on the road.
The last few
weeks, however, I seem to be addicted to Zeppelin. Could it be because their debut album was
released only a week ago in 1969? (Jan 12, right?) Of course, maybe it’s just that I’ve still
got them in my head from the final tour last month – that I would have loved to have gone to.
Either way – I’m a Zeppelin head for the time being. I’ve got a few on the iPod for
this trip to El Paso… Houses of Holy, In Through the Out Door, and of course, the live album,
The Song Remain the Same.
As to my guitar playing this week? I’ve stuck to the
favorites… Joel, Clapton, and even some fun stuff from when I was just a lad.
So far El Paso has been great. I’ve had a chance to meet with some neat people as we get geared
up for the Sales Consultant hiring event we have this Saturday.
I love hiring events – it’s
always great to get to see people in person and talk to them one-on-one about our jobs.
Of course, don’t forget that I have a soft spot for El Paso – the people here are hard
working, the air is crisp in the morning, and the sunsets are awesome.
