Nothing short of cool…
Today, AT&T announced a contribution of $50,000 to Junior
Achievement to support Business-Education Competition in Latin America. It’s entitled, “The
Second Latin America Competition of Business Decision-Making Program, Latin Entrepreneur” and will
take place in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina.
The purpose of the competition is to support
the development of future business leaders through hands-on training with software that simulates
market conditions and provides students with experience in operating a company and the elements of
the decision-making processes that go with it.
With more than 1,500 students participating
during the second quarter of 2008 (which will be carried out through the Internet) this is just
another reason that it’s easy to say I work for AT&T.
Great stuff – just wanted to
share!
