Got back on Friday
night from Florida. Whew, what a trip. It was a bit of a whirlwind tour. I was in Orlando for a
few days at a big conference that was fun and then went down to Miami for another meeting with
some top employers from around the country.
The great part was getting to sit around a table
with other top employers where the message was constant – Technology is the future and it starts
with Math and Science and an understanding not just of Technology from the end user aspect – but
from that of a developer.
We nicked it the “Wow! Factor”… it’s that moment when someone
realizes what goes on behind the scenes in order to make that television service so responsive, or
that telephone call so clear, or even that rocket get just a little closer to Mars.
Now we
just need to get that message out… Hmmm… how could we do that, I wonder…
